Anyone know if you can get a cheapish fault-code reader for the Rover
MEMS engine management system used on the K-series engine and later
Minis? Gunson don't do one. An expensive trip to the main dealer seems
a bit daft every-time my Mini develops an ignition fault (which is
quite often! - built on a Friday afternoon I'm sure!) E-mail me if you
can help. Thanks.

The car in question is probably scrapped by now. ;-)

Any idea why these blasts from the past keep appearing?

A combination of Google Groups and stupidity, I suspect.

Can I have this as latest reply?
I am still working on it but have some code working for various MEMS ECU versions,
starting it as a web application too which works through google chrome with the right USB cable
