I'm stumped!

This is a 1.4 litre 8 valve Kangoo. It runs like a pig, back firing, no revs and no power, runs slightly better at small throttle positions.

No faults reported on the scanner.

Coil pack replaced with a brand new (assumed OK) one. The garage is stumped. Next step is either cambelt out a few teeth or injector problems. Anything else to look at?

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Your best bet would be to join the Renault Forums:

http://www.renaultforums.co.uk

If anyone knows of anything to do with Renault cars, it's likely to be
them. I have benefited greatly from their expertise.

fuel pressure maybe, giant gaps on the plugs, blocked air intake,
cambelt timing should be checked, which is easy on one of those, using a
programmable timing light for speed or do it manually, still easy, just
slower.

Blocked fuel filter , ailing pump (low fuel flow) or blocked exhaust /
collapsed catalyst.

Find another garage if they cant diagnose this.

Check the plug connection to coil. Just turned the spade terminals to make a better connection. Another common fault is crankshaft position sensor. Most times its bad connection at those stupid male female plugs
